Welcome to Years 7 and 8 @ Davenies

Years 7 and 8 are important years in a boy’s schooling.  During this time, your son will turn from a primary school boy into a young adolescent.  A boy leaving Year 6 is a very different child from the one starting Year 9, not only in how he looks and behaves, but also in how capable he is of responding to responsibility, leadership and his new found maturity.  At Davenies, we offer the expertise and environment which allows these boys to flourish and develop into young men.  Every year, we welcome as many as ten boys from primary schools, who join our existing pupils for an exciting two year programme.  Within weeks, these boys have bonded so well that it is difficult to distinguish between the ‘old boys’ and the newcomers.
