Buzz Write 2009

It has been a pleasure reading and judging the inaugural Buzz-Write competition in the Prep School this term (Mrs Russell was kind enough to judge Year 3, in the obvious interest of impartiality). The theme has been Tales of the Unexpected à la Roald Dahl, so boys who demonstrated the skill of putting in a twist in the tail were rewarded. After that, the judging centred on excellent use of vocabulary, sentence structure and good story-telling skills.
