The highlight of the culinary year is always a sumptuous Christmas Luncheon.
As ever, the Thomas Franks catering team, under Chef Manager Gavin, did not disappoint. Roast turkey with all the trimmings was served – even freshly made cranberry sauce.
The Headmaster was enlisted to dish out the festive favourite, sprouts (who can say no to the Headmaster?!), whilst the Bursar was on cracker distribution detail.
With crackers pulled, hats donned and corny jokes told, the delicious meal was devoured by 400 ravenous boys and staff.
With the essence of Christmas pervading every conversation up and down the long tables, carols played gently in the background in the seasonally-decorated Dining Room!
