The Cubs take on PGL
Being a Cub is about fun, adventure and experience, all of which was certainly had on the Cubs’ annual PGL trip to Marchants Hill. The Cubs took on much during their three day trip including Raft Building, Abseiling and a turn on the Great Swing. For many, the activities helped to hone skills and develop important life lessons including courage and determination, well done to the boys for getting stuck in and displaying these qualities.
The weekend was spent in the glorious sunshine and enjoyed not only by the Cubs, but by their families, who joined the boys for their hike around Great Windsor Park, clocking up an impressive 9 1/4 miles. Everyone involved with the weekend in any way, epitomised the Davenies Spirit and did the School proud.
