Cricket at Davenies is constantly improving, with coaching taking place all year round. The 1st XI toured Antigua in 2005 and Grenada in July 2007.
The Under 13 teams currently play at nearby Beaconsfield CC; similarly, the Under 11 sides play their home games at Knotty Green CC. Both grounds provide dedicated cricket squares.
Individual coaching is offered to all boys at Davenies. This has led to a marked improvement in the techniques and skills of those who have taken part.
