Football is played during the Lent Term at Davenies. Fixtures are played against other schools in the area, from Year 3 onwards.
Davenies will be hosting its annual Under 13 tournament again this year, which will be attended by eleven other schools.
Boys in Year 5 and below will have the opportunity to play matches on the newly installed third generation artificial sports pitch, located next to the sports complex. This facility is regulation size for 7-a-side matches and will prove to be a valuable resource.
