Rugby
The entire Autumn term is dedicated to Rugby at Davenies. Boys from Year 3 to Year 8 play a variety of fixtures against a plethora of opposition.
Games staff follow the RFU continuum starting with 7-a-side tag Rugby in Year 3, through to 15-a-side at Under 13 level. Each team is allocated a dedicated coach for the term.
Last Year, the Colts A XII were runners-up in the National Prep School Tournament held at Epsom College.
The 1st XV toured South Africa in July 2009 and undertake a mini-tour during the Autumn Tour. Last year they visited Plymouth and Newton Abbot; this year the Midlands beckon in November.
