Ski Trip 2007 - Zillertal

In the first week of the Easter holidays, thirty boys joined Mr Affleck, Mr Gibson, Mr Tennant and Mr Barker for the annual Davenies foray to the slopes. For six sunny days, in the beautiful Zillertal Valley in Austria, they skied pretty much every slope at Zell am Ziller, Kaltenbach, Mayerhofen and Hoch-Fugen. The boys’ skiing skills improved beyond recognition over the week thanks to superb instruction from the Ski Astons team; not only were they kept busy all day on the slopes, but they enjoyed entertainment every evening in the form of a Tyrolean Evening, disco dancing, Austrian Bowling, and Whacky Races. A great time was had by all, staff and boys alike.
