Year 5 Induction at Woodrow High House
As the final part of their three-day induction, Year 5 visited Woodrow High House for a day of high energy, brain-stretching fun. Shortly after arrival, the boys separated into groups and began one of three activities designed to test their skills of teamwork, ingenuity and perseverance. The enthusiasm and desire to do well was evident for all to see and, while this may not always have been directed in quite the correct way, it was a pleasure to see how the boys began to learn from their mistakes as their time there progressed. They achieved much success on the ropes course, fumbling along the tricky blind trail and working together to solve a range of tasks.
To finish the day, we all gathered for some high-octane, tactical games during which the boys were encouraged to work together in teams to achieve a series of objectives – an excellent end to a super day!
