Discovering Dinosaurs at Museum of Natural History
Year 2 had a fantastically hands-on time during their trip to the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, and got up close and personal to a whole host of spectacular skeletons!
The boys engaged in a fascinating workshop where they learned how to use foot prints to calculate the height of a dinosaur, got to hold a T- Rex tooth and stroke the fossilised skin of a Triceratops.
In small groups the boys also had chance to explore the museum studying fossils, gemstones, bugs and a whole range of skeletons. They were full of curious questions and enjoyed finding out some of the answers too.
