A King is Born!

Professionally led by Year 2, Pre-Prep’s Nativity ‘A King is Born’ imaginatively told the story of the birth of Jesus in a meaningful and fun way.

“T’was the night before Christmas” and four children, settling down for a bedtime story, choose the story of The Nativity, the true story of Christmas, to enjoy before they go to sleep. With support from Year 1 singing It’s a Squash, It’s a Squeeze and Ten Really Wise Men by Reception, Year 2 delightfully retold the birth of Christ with well-rehearsed lines, songs galore, fantastic costumes and some well-timed humour for good measure. All was filmed in a COVID-safe way, with each year group filming their performances, and the magic of TV piecing it all together seamlessly.
