A Story about Art and DT
For a week, the Pre-Prep Hall has been festooned by giant paper flowers and papier-mâché balloons.
In addition, pirates, animals, sculptures, the Loch Ness Monster, dragons and dinosaurs have adorned the walls, floor and ceilings. With a visual barrage of colours and textures parents, pupils and staff roamed agog at the manifest flair, enthusiasm and ambition in ‘Storyland’.
Upstairs the Prep School’s Exhibition was no less aspiring. With collaborative interpretations of Leger, Giacometti and Hundertwasser ornamenting large boards, use of colour and mastery of technique was in much evidence.
With sublimated printed shirts and a range of design ideas the D&T Department showcased budding craftsmen to inspired audiences.
