Gala Concert Hits the Right Notes

Showcasing the dedication and talent of Davenies’ musicians, our Gala Concert was huge hit.

There was a wonderful mixture of music from our Senior Choral Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Davenies Stingers, cello duo and Rock Band. The standard was exceptional, and the boys serenaded with solos and duets from singers, pianists, violinists, cellists, guitarists, saxophonists and drummers. Many musical genres were excellently executed, through classical, spiritual, folk, musical theatre, pop, rock and jazz.  Our Head of Music, Mr Pegden said “to see how well they are progressing and flourishing as performers is priceless.”

A special thank you goes to our wonderful instrumental teachers who work tirelessly to achieve the best results for the boys.
