Our first Lunchtime Concert of the Term

Our first Lunchtime concert of the Summer term was such a treat. We were entertained with some classical, choral, musical theatre, folk, pop and rock pieces from boys aged 7 to 13. The drums were a big feature in this concert which is a first since I’ve been here. It was a debut performance for some of our boys, and it was a real pleasure to see how well they have all developed as performers. The audience supported, clapped along, cheered and celebrated the varied talents we have here at Davenies. There was a real sense of joy and smiles were raised by all. Well done to all, and as always, a special thank you goes to our outstanding peripatetic teachers for their endless support. Thank you also to Dr. Elena Vorotko and Tessa Suggett for their wonderful accompaniment and preparation with the boys.
