Published Poets!

Davenies boys are among some of those chosen from across the country to  have their writing published by Young Writers for their competition ‘Wonderverse’.

Alex, Barney, Kyle, Jake and Krishan from Year 5 are looking forward to having their ‘Wonderverse’ responses printed in Young Writers’ January’s edition. The Wonderverse poetry competition is a national poetry competition for 7-12 year-olds to engage and inspire them with writing poetry and invited pupils to write poetry on any theme or style, from pets, heroes or class topic to the weird and wonderful. Well done to our very own young writers on being chosen to be published.
