Year 4 Create…
…A ‘Play in a Day’
A huge well done to Year 4 who enjoyed created a play in a day, all about evacuees in World War II. The boys came to school dressed as evacuees and fully embraced their characters as they bought to life the experiences, feelings and routines of the evacuees and their host families during the war. We enjoyed different scenarios from evacuees leaving their parents at the train station to settling into their new lives in a different part of the country and even what school and family dinner times might have consisted of. We were treated to songs and characterful acting and can’t quite believe they pulled it together in one short day performing it seamlessy with confidence and wonderful talent!
A special thank you to Mrs Marshall for guiding the boys and for preparing the wonderful set.
