Year 2’s Hopscotchy Day at Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery
Through practical workshops, Year 2 explored the story of The Twits and had a truly “Hopscotchy” day at the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery.
During their visit, the boys learned about Roald Dahl, his stories and his life as a writer. Year 2 explored the hands-on Gallery where they crawled through Fantastic Mr Fox’s tunnel and imagined being Augustus Gloop stuck in the tube from the chocolate river. Thankfully, everyone avoided The Chokey!
In the Science-based Gallery, Year 2 explored some of the science from Roald Dahl’s stories, where they even get to be on Mike TV!
Described as an enormous pop-up book by one of the boys, all of Year 2 had a hands-on day of discovery at the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery.
