Welcome New Families!

The Friends of Davenies new parents’ drinks provided the perfect opportunity for families new to Davenies to be welcomed into the School community.

Originally started by President, Ann Tennant, over 20 years ago, the Friends of Davenies (FoD – a registered charity since 2016) organise fun, social events, across the School, providing an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together in support of Davenies. Starting as they mean to go on for the academic year, the FoD organised welcome drinks in the Pre-Prep Atrium for our new families and, with our Senior boys on hand to look after and chat to guests, Headmaster, Mr Thomas (new himself to Davenies!) supported by the Senior Leadership Team welcomed all to the Davenies community. With 46 boys joining Davenies this year, it was great to see so many new faces and we look forward to getting to know each boy and his family the term progresses.
