Year 1 take their learning on the road!
Year 1 had a fantastic trip to Science Oxford this week. The children explored the hands-on exhibits in the Exploration Zone, enjoyed a woodland walk where they observed nature up close, and took part in a fun and interactive Water Explorers workshop. It was a brilliant day full of learning, curiosity, and discovery to bring to life all they have been learning in the classroom.
We place great importance on trips and visits because they enrich learning experiences, foster personal growth including independence, a sense of adventure and confidence, and promote a broader understanding of the world. Trips enhance subject understanding, putting theory into real life situations, develop key skills, and broaden horizons.
