It began innocently enough on Tuesday with a curious ring of sticks. By Wednesday, this puzzling formation had transformed into a nest carefully crafted from leaves and twigs. But the true surprise awaited us on Thursday morning: nestled snugly at the centre of the nest lay an enormous, vibrant, blue egg.

Speculation has been rife. Could it be the egg of a rare bird? A creature of myth? Or simply an elaborate riddle waiting to be solved? The boys wasted no time diving into the mystery, seizing the opportunity to sharpen their investigative, scientific, sensory, imaginative, and descriptive skills. Clipboards in hand and minds whirring, they have been busy observing, hypothesising, and storytelling with impressive enthusiasm.
