DAS Cheer On The Bees
As part of their enrichment experience, boys in the Senior School enjoyed a Whacky Weekend to watch a National Ice Hockey match at the Slough Arena.
Joined by the Headmaster, Mr Rycroft, as well as Miss Graham, Mr Tennant and Mr Wilcox, 40 boys from Years 7 and 8 were mesmerised by the speed, skill, and power on display, as the Bracknell Bees took on the Peterborough Phantoms. Both teams traded early goals, which set up an enthralling final period, where the Bees hung on for a slim 5-4 victory. The boys enjoyed joining in the chants and cheers of the home supporters and were thanked for their contribution. It was a great evening, enabling the boys to enjoy some social time together outside of school .
