Football Tour 2022

Boys at the Senior end of the School enjoyed the opportunity to travel to Cambridgeshire as part of the reinstated annual Football Tour.

Three travelling squads took in a fixture at The Bedford School, coming away with three convincing victories in an idyllic setting, before continuing on to Cambridge for the night. Following a team meal, the boys were able to test out their football knowledge with a quiz before getting a good night’s sleep ahead of a busy Saturday.

Saturday saw the travelling party take part in a mini-tournament as well as some light training. There were some impressive performances and an opportunity for boys to have a go at ‘the crossbar challenge’.

The afternoon was spent supporting Cambridge United in their League One fixture against MK Dons. An end-to-end match saw the visitors run out victorious on what was another beautiful afternoon.

The trip provided a fantastic way to round-off what has been an extremely successful senior football season.
