Lunchtime Concert is Music to our Ears

Our second Lunchtime Concert was a roaring success, with performances from the Year 6 string quartet, Year 2 choir, plus a piano duet, as well as solos on the piano, cello, and voice.

Kicking off proceedings, our Year 2 choir performed a fun, action-packed song which raised a smile from all. This was followed by a number of piano, vocal and cello solos/duets ranging from traditional pieces from around the world, to folk, musical theatre, Jazz and classical. Furthermore, the audience was then wowed by our Year 6 string quartet playing ‘Duel of the Fates’, by John Williams from the iconic film Star Wars.

The standard by all who performed was very high indeed, and quite a few had never performed to an audience before. Well done to all, and we look forward to the next Lunchtime Concert.
