Pre-Prep Sports Day

Last Friday, boys in Pre-Prep came together to cheer each other on in a range of races – all competing for both individual and House successes! It was a warm day, yet all the boys put their heart and soul into doing their very best.

For our Reception boys, this was their first taste of sports day at Davenies and they loved having parents cheering them on from the side lines. And for our Year 2 boys this was the end of an era as they start their Junior School journey next year. We were also delighted to welcome many of our new Reception 2025 families for their first taste of the Davenies Community as they ran in the ‘new boys race’. It ended up a little chaotic but the main aim was achieved which was fun and smiles!

Races included some classics like the ‘sack race’ and ‘egg and spoon race’ as well as a house relay and obstacle course and some individual running races. Lots of our boys were presented with medals by Mr Thomas, and at the end of the afternoon Drake were crowned House Champions!
