Scott House Cycle for YoungMinds
Boys and staff of Scott House cycled the length of Hadrian’s Wall in support of YoungMinds, and raised a wheelie fantastic amount for the mental health charity.
On arguably the coldest evenings of the term so far, Scott House excelled all expectations by cycling the length of Hadrian’s Wall, in fact overshooting by 3km and ending up in the North Sea such was their enthusiasm! From Reception to Year 8, all of the boys and many Scott House staff took part either cycling or gently persuading the Davenies community to donate towards their House charity, YoungMinds, whose work supports mental health in children, young people and their adults.
Collectively, Scott House raised £644.96 through their static bike ride! Thank you to the Davenies community and well done to Scott House for making a difference to the lives of children and young people.
