Swimming v Gayhurst

A really fun and exciting gala for the sixteen, Year 3 and 4 swimmers, as they took on Gayhurst in their ‘home’ pool.

Highlights were many in a gala full of fast swimming, improving diving and well executed relays. Particular mentions go to the improving performances of Eliah Jairaj and Arthur Rose (backstroke), Xander Arentz and Morgan Williams (breaststroke) and Monty Williams and Cillian Evans (freestyle). Matty McGinley demonstrated his talent in an all-round display of awesome swimming across five unbeaten races in breaststroke, freestyle and three relays! Well done to all the swimmers who participated so enthusiastically; excellent progress and good sportsmanship all bodes well for the future.
