Welcome to the Hay Bale Hotel!

“Welcome to the Hay Bale Hotel” was the cry from the PAC as the Pre-Prep took it over for their annual Nativity with three performances in one week!

As more and more people descend upon Bethlehem for the census, with Hen taking the lead, the animals in the stable have a thought: with all their space and comfortable bedding, why not turn the stable into a hotel for the weary travellers? They tidy up as best they can, spread out the hay bales and give themselves jobs within the hotel. The only problem is, nobody seems to be heading their way. At least, not until a young couple are shown in by a local innkeeper…

Year 2 took the lead as a host of lovable characters retelling the classic Nativity tale with a fresh, fun and heart-warming twist full of laugh out loud jokes, play on words and fabulous songs! Year 1 were on hand as shepherds, opening the show by inviting parents and teachers alike to ‘Join them on their journey’ and supporting the cast with their super singing. Reception pulled at the heart strings, as they often do, by entering the theatre dressed as a variety of farmyard animals and welcoming the audience to Bethlehem. The boys were simply amazing, their singing was confident and tuneful and everyone who got to see this spectacular play left in high spirits, wowed by the performance of all included. It was a proud moment for both the teachers and parents. Well done Pre-Prep!
