Long-Awaited Return for the Class of 2020

The Class of 2020 made their long-awaited return to Davenies for an afternoon of reminiscing and catching up with school friends.

Owing to restrictions in place, the event had been postponed for the last two years, but it seems it was well worth the wait.  It was wonderful to see the return of familiar faces, and some that had changed quite a lot since we last saw them.  Once all had assembled, a friendly game of rounders was played before sitting for a delicious lunch by Ann Tennant. Conversation flowed regaling each other with favourite memories or indeed new ones from their senior schools.  Boys enjoyed a kahoot quiz of funny moments and matching the quote to the boy before sitting back to watch their Leavers’ photo montage from Speech Day 2020. 

We were delighted to welcome back the Year 8 Class of 2020 for their much anticipated reunion and it was heartening to see the loyalty that remains from our alumni who regard Davenies so highly. A fantastic afternoon was had by all!
