Forming Friendships in the Forest

Year 7 enjoyed a wonderful start to their time in the Senior School with a three-day Bushcraft camping trip.

Kicking-off their tenure in the Senior School, Year 7 visited Penshurst Place Woods, in Kent for a Bushcraft experience where they were able to enjoy nature, learn new skills and develop their leadership and teamwork capabilities. This was a wonderful opportunity to welcome in new boys and to strengthen existing bonds by spending fun, quality time together.  Activities included Camouflage and Concealment, fire lighting, knife skills, trap setting, SOS First Aid, shelter building and a range of team games and campfire camaraderie.

Despite returning home a little dirty, tired and damp, the boys all enjoyed their time together and should be congratulated for their positivity, support for one another and excellent conduct whilst representing the School.
