Musicians Provide Festive Cheer for Hospice Charity
The Chamber Choir and the Senior Handbells performed with the Ascot Brass Band at St Michael and All Angels church to ring in the festive season for the Rennie Grove Hospice Care.
The concert was a rousing event in which the Chamber Choir and the Senior Handbells supported the highly acclaimed Ascot Brass with their season programme in support of Rennie Grove Hospice Care, a charity providing specialist care and support for adults and children with a life-limiting illness. The Chamber choir sang their Christmas songs ‘Christmas in New York’ and ‘Oh Holy Night’, and the handbells played the ‘Hallelujah’ chorus and a medley of French Carols. The Ascot Brass band played a variety of Christmas classics to an exceptional standard. This was a fantastic evening for all involved to raise money for such an amazing cause. The children sang their hearts out and the hand bells rang beautifully throughout the church. The evening concluded with a sing along of some carols and popular Christmas songs for all to enjoy and get into the festive spirit.
