Primary Schools are Superstars at Davenies
Eleven local primary schools attended our annual ‘Superstars’ afternoon at Davenies for afternoon of sporting fun that saw them work in teams to kick, throw and run their way to success.
Teams of ten Year 4 boys and girls rose to the challenge of events that included basketball shooting, crazy croquet, a space hopper relay, football penalties and Frisbee golf. The energy levels and excitement were high from start to finish and there was some excellent team spirit on display. The final, all-in, activity was the Tug O War competition: after a lengthy battle, Long Crendon beat Butlers Court in the final to claim maximum points!
Following tea of hot dogs and doughnuts, there was a presentation of certificates, keyrings and the Superstars Trophy.
Overall, the podium places were very close on points; third place were Long Crendon, second place were Holtspur and first were Butlers Court.
